Delving into our AT:SF Flickr Pool, we came upon this cool vintage phone that Gigegy posted. She wrote that she found it while in Portland. Seeing it made us look at our boring AT&T phone with a certain amount of disdain. When did telephones become so... blah? It might be time to switch to a vintage one with character.
Thanks, Gigegy!

okay, i know that house phones in general are pretty shunned (unless they're fabulous and vintage). but, i have been searching for the cordless phone from Carrie's apartment in Sex in the City. i know it seems weird, but i love that phone. it got that funny lip that sticks out at the bottom and stands up in the cradle.
anyone?
I have that phone in white -- I believe it's called a "genie."
I'm not sure about Carrie's phone from Sex and the City, but I have been trying to find the vintage(?) flip number clock from season 1 episode 5. It's the one where Carrie accidentally has sex for money and it is in the hotel room when she wakes up the next morning. It's basically an old version of a digital clock -- very art deco looking. Anyone know a good source for those?
Ebay is a good source for those kind of clocks.
