Before and (a Wow!) After. Long time reader and good friend of AT Kathryn just completed a big project, a gut rehab of her guest bathroom, with gorgeous results. She took the look of the room from "mish-mash" to modern luxe simplicity...

A few of the big changes and up-to-the-minute design choices that Kathryn made:

  • Glass enclosed walk-in shower replaces a curtained tub
  • A modern wall hung dark brown vanity with a minimalist boxy sink by Suneli replaces the marble topped, oval basin sink and white cabinet vanity (our favorite change)
  • The new faucet is the Hansgrohe Axor by Philippe Starck
  • A generous niche was built in to the shower area to hold products
  • 12x12 Italian tiles were used on the floor and walls with a strip of bronze accent tiles as a decorative finish
  • A super streamlined mirrored medicine cabinet provides storage without bulk
