It may be years before we even see the Microsoft Surface, but that didn't stop Sterling from creating his own version. His creation is Mac-based, and features a touchscreen monitor housed in a table in his living room.
He uses it to control the music in his home and do various other web tasks. From the iSight mounted to the table, we'd guess he does some video conferencing, as well. We can't find any construction details, but it looks like, with a little know-how, a fairly straightforward project. Find a cheap coffee table, a touchscreen, and recycle your older Mac Mini and you could create your very own table computer.
