A new member to our flickr group "Apartment Therapy DC," kmrotterdam shared photos of her studio in Arlington, VA. We love how the orange-red wall breaks up her studio space to separate the dining/living area from her bedroom area. More photos below the jump...

Thanks, kmrotterdam!

very nice use of color and space!
I definitely love the idea of separating areas of a room by painting only sections of the wall. Looks great.
Very nice space. I love how you've painted and decorated everything. I especially like the dining table with the 4 ottomans for seating stored underneath the table to save space.
love the orange- do we know what color that is?
Really nice place. Great orange color. I particularly like the bedroom area.
What cabinet/credenza is that in the first picture please?
I think this place looks awesome.
Thanks for the comments. I appreciate the advice. In response to a few questions: the cabinet/credenza is from Ikea. The red/orange color is "terracotta" from Sear's home brand paints. The dining table with the ottomans underneath is this supposedly Japanese-inspired dining set from Pier 1, when they were putting out more clean, modern design furniture lines a few years ago.
I'm thinking about another color to accompany the terracotta; any ideas? Something not too bold.
