If a wall of photos is too two-dimensional for you, check out this wall of dioramas with contrasting interior walls. Every bit of available space is used, and we like the touch of the small lamp in the middle.

Where's that sofa from?
This is charming and clever, a nice change from the (pleasant but more common) 2-D art wall. Hmmm, something similar might look good at my home.
diorama, n.
1. a picture painted on a set of transparent cloth curtains and looked at through a small opening
2. a miniature scene, wholly or partially three-dimensional, depicting figures in a naturalistic setting
3. a museum display of a preserved or reconstructed specimen, as of wildlife in a simulation of its habitat
Box Shelves or Shadowboxes - Yes.
Dioramas - No.
They're all drawers!

It sure does look that way-- now there's a DIY for ya! I think they look pretty nifty. I like it, and I like the whole room.

Good point, bepsf. I knew there was a better word, but my brain would not cough it up today. Noted!
oh, I am sooo stealing this idea!
I have the same sofa - love it. It's desperately in need of some throw pillows though. I wasn't sure if different shades of green pillows would clash but it looks good.
cute kitty!
