Flickr Finds: Orange Wall Update from "the farmer's daughter"

Last week, "thefarmer'sdaughter" asked AT readers what they thought about her new orange accent wall. At your encouragement, she decided: "I am keeping the orange accent wall. I still need to put up art, but here it is put together. . . the cow is staying." Shown here, the rest of the great looking dining room. (See the orange wall again below:)

Above: This is the dining room with the accent wall from the other direction. The big table/bar where the computer sits was just built by my Mr. for more space. The computer monitor is going to be replaced with a smaller flatter one asap. The large multi-colored fabric piece is hiding a hideous 1970's mirrored nooky thing.

We agree with readers - the room looks great!

Thank you! The best part (in my mind) is that I got this done- furniture and all (except the computer) for under 500 bucks.

I think you should paint that wall where the windows are, too! Maybe a gray similar to your dresser in the other post since it looks so lovely with that orange. (of course this would mean your brown curtains might not look so hot...something to thikn about, I guess!)
