Guillaume Laplace has got a really nice home office setup. Two glass desks form a 90 degree angle in a corner. We usually see this setup with wooden tables, but it just looks better with glass. For some reason, glass and Apple products mix well together. His desk real estate is large enough for a lot of gear, from iPods to iPhones.
His aluminum iMac is the centerpiece of his office space. An iPod Nano 16 GB and an iPhone 3G stand in docking cradles near his monitor. Guillaume Laplace opted for a seventies style office chair, which works well with the glass and metal of his desk. A Wacom graphic tablet and a Western Digital external hard drive complete his computer setup. That doesn't stop his desk from adding a bit of fun. A golden Be@rBrick sits in the central corner. His second desk near his window has an integrated glass shelf, which is perfect for plants, lamps and other decorative items.
We like how Guillaume still has space to use in his setup. Most of the second desk is taken up by more decorative pieces, which can be shifted aside when he wants to dock a laptop or another computer. This is a good setup with enough desk real estate to grow into. More computers and peripherals can be added, without spoiling the clean lines of the glass desks.
