We have been seeing some great rooms on Flickr! Check out this lovely room, fit for a very lucky big girl. We are mesmerized by this awesome bed, with built in side table, and a book slot in the headboard, perfect for some oversized kid's books.

Of course, when you get a big girl's bed, you must jump on it. It is written in the constitution. That is a happy little jumper there, fulfilling her constitutional duty. We love everything in this photo, from the fabu bedding to the wonderful lamp.

The mirror and hooks at child height are a great idea! The twin of the bedside table lamp is on the dresser, and oh! That dresser! We are hoping someone will be able to identify this furniture maker.

Everybody needs a good reading nook, and this is a great one! Check out the artwork board, and the clever organizing system for board books. And, of course, the great lamp!
Thank you for sharing your photos on Flickr using the apartmenttherapynursery tag!

That furniture is IKEA. I believe it is the MALM bed & dresser.
robin, you are absolutely correct. I like how they used only one nightstand with the bed.

I sleep on a Malm and unfortunately they aren't very sturdy. If you plan to use it as a kid's bed, I would definitely reinforce the support for the mattress.
My hubby and I are using this Malm bed in brown-black in our room right now (will eventually be the guest bed when we upgrade to a king) and we have the wood slats under our mattress. It feels VERY sturdy and we love it. "Perfect" for our puppy to jump on and off of as well. I LOVE it in the kids room, never thought of it.
