We have often seen some great room dividers and desks, but it's rare to find a great looking combination of both room divider and desk. With space at such a premium in many apartments it's nice to see innovative design that maximizes space while still looking awesome. The FLKS by Dutch designer Louwrien Kaptein manages to turn a room divider into a great temporary home office for laptop users faster than you can say "super flexible workspace."
FLKS utility furniture is made of poplar, birch plywood and stainless steel with panels that open at a 90° angle, which can be arranged to turn it into a functional workstation. To get working, all you need to do is unfold the table and the chair and set up your laptop.
FLKS when not used as a workstation folds flat to become a room divider. When in room divider mode, FLKS takes up very little space and is also easy to transport from one room to another. We think this could be a great solution for a shared apartment or for anyone looking for a room divider that can do double duty as a desk. FLKS is a great fit for those looking to turn a room divider into a great temporary home office for a laptop user
