Unfortunately, there is no purchasing information available from the designers, ENESS. The lack of information is sort of bitter sweet. On one end, we do think these tiles are kind of cool and if used in the right way, could really turn out to be something to be proud of. However, they're looking a little floppy and sloppy &mdash we're thinking major water damage and insect problems down the road.
Over at Gizmodo, commenters bring up some serious points. Why did they choose floppy disks as opposed to flash cards? And, these ceramic tiles should be made into candy floppy disks &mdash those would be a hit at any vintage candy store. Kids these days wouldn't know a floppy disk from an 8-track.
What do you think of these Floppy Disk Ceramic Tiles?
