Floppy Disk Turned USB Drive

Boss, rad, gnarly, choice, dope. All things retro continue to come back around as high tech reincarnations of their former self. Something like the retro flat panel console definitely does the combination of classic and modern day justice, while the retro belt buckles, umm, not so much. We are all for clever re-use though, which is why the floppy disk USB drive concept from Thomas O'Connor caught our eye.

The idea behind this concept is to take old floppy disks and retrofit them with the innards of a modern day flash drive including power indicator and data transfer lighting. While an old 1.44 mb floppy disk can't really compete size wise with a modern day flash drive, this would be right at home beside your cassette tape USB hub. The modern day 80's office.
