I've been eyeing this up for a couple weeks now and deciding if I should try a DIY version. Any tips? What can I use as a "bucket" to put my artificial tree base in?

I put my tree in a big flower pot. Granted, it's a very cute flower pot, not just the plain clay one, but it a plain one could work too.
