Location: Bonnington Square, England
In Lucy's words:
"These classic red geraniums are perched out the front of our one bedroom flat in central London, but the real star of this photo is the street below which is Bonnington Square. All the street planting is tended by the local community, hence the wonderful palm, pineapple broom, and creepers growing up the houses and telegraph poles..."

"Take a look at //garden.bonningtonsquare.org.uk/ for more info and better photos. The other photos show our roof terrace out back, a real boon for a small apartment....The terrace is shared access but the pots and plants are all my own work. In the background you can see over to our neighbour's roof with lots of grasses and palms and in the far distance the gasometers next to the Oval Cricket Ground."
We love your groupings of planters, are inspired by the story of Bonnington Square, and your geraniums look wonderful and bright against the the view from your window. We have a little gift in the mail to you: a pot from Ecoforms and seed packets from SelectSeeds.com to help make your garden grow. Enjoy!

If you see an amazing flowerbox (it could be yours or anyone elses), plant the "Flowerbox Award" in the box (the image is down below for you to print out), take two great pictures and send them to us with the following:
• Your name & mailing address (to send you a gift)
• The flowerbox location
• The owner if you know it
• A short description of why or how it's so nice
The flowerbox can be ANYWHERE in the world and it should be current (no pictures from years ago). We'll choose one a week to post on Friday and send you a gift if we choose yours.
Please email flowerboxes to newyork @ apartmenttherapy.com and put FLOWERBOX in the subject field. Questions? email Matt @ apartmenttherapy.com.
