We just can't stay away from West 10th Street! If you're in need of a green fix, and the Botanical Gardens are too much of a hike, head over to West 10th Street between 5th and 6th Avenue, the area that real estate agents call “The Gold Coast.” The entire block is covered in lush plant-life, a great example of how contagious gardening is in the city. This townhouse took the cake, and we had to give it this week’s award. We noticed it is for sale and looked it up online: it can be yours for a cool $6 million. Don’t be dismayed – at the least, you can afford to buy a few of the same plants. It’s likely the owners (or the savvy real estate agent) shops at Plantworks (28 East 4th Street) or Chelsea Garden Center (455 West 16th). Make a habit of stopping by one of those places, and your block could be the new Gold Coast. SKGR
