Flutemaker's Workshop with Unique Skylights

Designed for a woodworker specializing in flute heads, this L shaped space has great lighting thanks to some unique skylights made from common materials.

This flutemakers shop was designed and built by ShedBuilt, and contains room for a bandsaw, jointer, lathe, and room for wood storage. The L-shaped design has two distinct zones: one for storing wood, and the other a workspace. The exterior of the building features two types of siding to match both properties from which it is viewable.

Most importantly, five round skylights were made from fabricated sheet-metal capped with lexan panels, which makes the whole thing inexpensive and effective.
