Here's a way of illustrating interiors that we've never seen before. German artist Simon Schubert creates "drawings" of interiors by simply folding white paper...
Simon Schubert's works include mostly interiors of hallways and stairs, with repetitive elements marching back in perspective. We're loving the "reflections" folded into mirrors and the 3D quality the folds give the paper. See the rest of Schubert's work here.

that takes mad skills, i am in awe.
Absolutely amazing. This sort of reminds me of the papercut sculptures by Peter Callesen, but the ones above are even more subtle and delicate:

Those portraits he did are amazing.
Loved the website. It would be wonderful having a collection of these creatively matted and framed.
That is totally crazy. I mean, it's truly awesome, but it kind of hurts my eyes, too, looking at all the detail in low contrast. I have to imagine the guy who does this has a touch of the OCD.
Hauntingly beautiful. There is something very ghostly about them. . .
LOVE these! Very original.
This is incredible. It's like Curtis, inverted.
i love it. this s a patient and precise man. god bless hm. i would be like a puppy tearing that paper to bits in frustration after about a half hour. but it is wonderful and amazing work.
My god..............there are MIRRORS in most of these! Did y'all notice?? He folds the REFLECTIONS of the room folds!
Dude!
These are awesome... when I looked on his site at how many there are, they start to look like creepy ghost houses. And then I looked at his other work and it's some of the creepiest creepy things... They made me feel... funny.
There's one with two mirrors, that shows the reflections of three actual mirrors............reflections of reflections.

Wow! This simple concept is really inspiring! These are beautiful pieces that I think I could stare at for quite a long time.
