Fontiphiles beware, Italian designers Alessandro Canepa & Andrea Paulicelli have revealed their new alphanumeric metal tables called "Fontables". They are sleek, modern and modular. The tables are available from A to Z (upper and lower case) as well as numbers 0 through 9. These graphic tables come in black, white, red and have adjustable legs for easy overlapping design. The dynamic shape and phrasing possibilities are endless and ever-changing.
So if you are one of those font crazy folk out there, now there's one more way to incorporate it into your everyday life. Fontables are made in Milan and are not currently available in the US. You can purchase them through outdoorz gallery.

Shaw's Original Fir...
pretty awesome!!
Oh wow, please let us all know as soon as those are available in the US. Also, is it childish that my first thought was, "Hooray, I can write curses in my living room!"?
The Comic Sans line is on sale. :-)
danielaz: not at all! we thought exactly the same thing!
Pretty cool. I guess if you wanted to save some $$ you could build these yourself out of MDF and legs from a hardware store.
My thought was: oh, these are so cool. I wonder if I can have TAP Plastics in SF do the same thing for me but cheaper... second thought: if I used ponoko.com – I could choose my fave typefaces!
The big question is, do these tables come in more than one font?
