The last time we played foosball was at a family reunion over 15 years ago. Memories of one of the cutthroat tournaments include our cousin yelling at us "Don't Spin the Rods!!" Wow, brings back memories. I played foosball all summer, every summer of my youth and went back to school with callouses between my index finger and thumb. I was the foosbal champ, baby!!
if these were recycled from old tables, i'd love the idea, but from new material, they lack irony. just another themed gadget for an athletic boy's mother to purchase for an overwrought sports bedroom or "man cave".
i think this looks great, but come on people, you could buy a cheap foosball table and make like 6 of these for around $100.
