Okay, we're not sure how we feel about this. We love tech and wouldn't mind having the ability to lounge in bed while enjoying a movie, but having a TV built right into the frame of the bed? We're going to leave this call up to you guys.
We 'get' that most people don't like staring a big black square in the room when the TV is off, so the most logical approach is shove the TV into the frame of the bed (Picture 2). This may sound great on paper, but from what we see on the market today, it's a strange mix of 'comfort spaces' - one that we're still not sure that we're totally comfortable with having in our bedrooms.
Instead, we feel it may be better to break the comfort spaces - perhaps pushing the TV back to the wall where it belongs, surrounded by a series of warm books so that the black frame doesn't have to feel alone when it's quiet time.
Then again, movie junkies who love watching their flicks up close and personal may still prefer the option of a built-in TV in the bed. What do you think?
