Want to declare your love of all things Apple to the world? Or, perhaps you would rather make a statement about how useless the ultra slim Apple keyboard is to type on? Whether you are the former or the latter, this might possibly be the DIY project for you... the oh so shiny Apple Keyboard Skateboard.
Inspired by the Skatekeyboard by geek artist, Tobi Leingruber, Instructables user Frenzy decided to make his own keyboard skateboard but with a big change... he wanted his to actually function as a skateboard.
To make this project you will need: 2 skateboard trucks, 4 skate wheels & bearings, 2 risers,1 2x4 piece of wood, 1 old keyboard, and 8 wood screws.
We are not going to lie, we think this project is all kinds of awesome and this is not just because we are typing this on post on a Mac and really wish the Playmobil Apple Store was real. As cool as we think it would be to have a skateboard that looked like this, we cannot see giving up a working keyboard for it. Now, if the keyboard was not functioning and could not be fixed...that would be a whole other story.
