Olive green certainly isn't the easiest color to decorate with even though it's considered a neutral. However, no matter how tricky it can be there's no denying how fantastic it looks when done right.
It's funny that olive green can be difficult to work with because it can actually be used in almost any style. It's a great color for an eclectic look because you can pair it with several different colors in one room.
A much easier approach is to use it as the main colorful focal point. Olive green makes a great sofa color or even splashed up on the wall with gold accents. Olive is such a chic and expensive looking color and when done right it speaks volumes.

White Enamel Four-P...
We just painted our bedroom Terrapin Green (Benjamin Moore.) It's not a strong olive - but it has a hint of it. A lovely green.
With crisp white trim, white bedding and some navy accents it's looking great!
i've always loved olive green - it reminds me of my dad's office when i was a kid - he had one of those great 1960's olive leather couches
Love olive green paired with a deep teal and bright, crisp citrus yellow! our living room seems to be evolving around that color scheme. One aspect I love about the color - I can throw the windows wide open to continue the wash of color. It really brings the outdoors in.
Love the stools
That "Paris Vu Par" poster is beautiful!
Olive green is a great color and not overused by any means.
when I read this post, I immediately remembered the living room from AT's past house tour "A Bright & Beautiful Bungalow From An Ohio Trio"

Our dining room is olive green and I just love it! Here is a picture of it unfurnished after we had just painted.

Wow. I love it.
Does anyone know where I can find that gorgeous pendant lamp? Or who designs it/what it's called? Thanks for any help!
Is it the... chair in Photo 2 that's supposed to be olive green? It's a lovely room, but I don't really see the olive green aside from one book on the shelf.
