Color-coded bookcases caught on like wildfire, so how about monochromatic closets? A recent fashion feature in New York Magazine showcased five New Yorkers who dress monochromatically every day posing in their closets. While going full-on monochromatic is a bit extreme, we like the idea of grouping our closet items by color.

However, we can foresee some organizing complications with seasonal wear. For example, do you group all your red t-shirts next to your red sweaters? Or do you separate the entire t-shirt collection from the sweater collection?
