Though there are plenty of perfectly valid reasons for tucking jewelry out of sight — particularly expensive or delicate pieces — we're generally fans of displaying jewelry rather than hiding it. This bright blue stand is both simple and commanding of attention — our only worry would be that it not detract from the beauty of our necklaces and earrings.
If you're jewelry is already covered, we think it could also make a nice hanging drying rack for the kitchen.
$20, here.

I'm having the HARDEST TIME finding a jewelry stand! I am looking for ones that will hold earrings too... anyone know if the "arms" on this are too thick to put a pair of earrings over them (avoiding stretching out the hook part)?
You could use a coffee mug rack, too
I saw this! It is so cute- I actually just did a post on the coat rack jewelry hanger from Urban- adorable!

Very simple and nice design.
Regarding the question about earrings, my step-sister has a jewelry rack for earrings that is homemade.
It has a metal screen and a nice wood frame around it, and a base so it stands up on her dresser. The earrings just hang on the screen. She says she uses it all the time and loves it.
My landlady has the greatest idea for an earring holder. She has put cheesecloth in sewing hoop and propped it up on her dresser. The earrings are hung all over the cloth.
