We spotted this wall, in the room of Dwell designer Jennifer Chused's son, over at Cup of Jo, and felt inspired. Adding a wall like this, possibly with art you already have, is a perfect way to rejuvenate a room this spring.
We love the idea of framing a collection of similar things, and we second Joanna's idea of using pages from an old book (like they apparently did above) and IKEA frames.

I love the old airplane sketches - very cute. I also love the polka dot tubs. A perfect spot to through those toys to make clean-up time quick!
Fantastic idea. We're redoing our family room, and I was thinking of doing the frames filled with botanical prints or some beautiful spencerian script drawings. (I found some at the Graphic's Fairy blog http://graphicsfairy.blogspot.com/2010/02/free-antique-clip-art-pen-flourished.html)
I love the airplanes, they are great.

Where can we find this book?
Any luck finding this book. I have the original Domino magazine article, and it doesn't list the book. I've been looking for books on line, but of corse they don't let you see the illustrations inside. If anyone finds a book with similar planes please let me know. My son loves airplanes, and want to duplicate this wall.
Did anyone ever find this book?
This Etsy shop carries vintage airplane illustrations that you can use to recreate this look.
