Name: Frances (3.5) Location: Crystal Lake, IL Color Inspiration: The color inspiration for Frances' room started with the rug which I fell in love with. Her room is a small space, only 7' x 9', so after painting the knotty pine paneling a neutral color we decided to bring in pops of color through accessories, textiles and toys while keeping the furniture light & bright so as not to make the space feel any smaller. Our other inspiration was our daughter who will be coming home from China next month, after spending the first 3.5 years of her life in an orphanage, we wanted to create a space for her that would be bright, cheerful and reflect our fun and colorful lifestyle.

I felt like we were able to pull a lot of color into the space but still keep it a calm and restful place for our daughter. Colors Used: Pink, turquoise, yellow, green, blue Thanks for your colorful entry Martha and good luck!
