Minimal? Umm, where?

I would of called it soft modern if anything.
Really nice looking whatever one calls it.

Thumbs up: the magnificent horse photo against the shimmering bedroom wallcovering and sheets; the superb leather bench against the chunky library shelving.

Concur. This is stylish, but not minimal in any way I can see. In fact, there is a tremendous amount of traditionalist extraneous decoration, like the molding on the walls, the frilly frames (which I love, esp in contrast with those cement (?) stools).

I love the hidden door into the bathroom concept. And the wonderful herringbone wood floor against the blue-grey walls. The bookshelves look very self-consciously styled though. Not candid at all.

Altogether, very classy and grown-up.

They did resort to one of the dirty tricks of bedroom interior design photography though... they only show one side of the bed! I hate that because coordinating matching or non-matching bedside tables is always the hardest thing for me, and this way I never get more ideas!

Can anyone tell me the name of the artist who did the horse mane photograph shown above? I'm aware that Linda Fargo gave the artwork as a gift, but who is the artist please? Thank you for any information anyone might provide. I sincerely appreciate it.

Nice apartment. Very "Calvin Klein" I was disappointed by the pictures included. I really don't want to see a picture of a cup on a sink, unless it shows some feature or clever idea.

Did anyone ever find the artist of the horse's mane photograph? I'd like a copy, but I can't seem to find it anywhere!
