In Europe, limited space is not the exception but the rule. So Parisian parents like François and Raphaëlle have solved a problem like not having enough bedrooms by giving a private bedroom to each of their two children, and designing a parental bedroom suite that functions as a living room for the whole family by day. The key to this look is putting together a bed that says daybed not bedroom -- done here with crisp white linens and wall-hung Moroccan doors -- and keeping the house perfectly in order. Check out their son's and daughter's picturesque rooms after the jump.

world market sells 3-panel floor screens just like the one on the parents' bed.
Lady J - I saw that Lombok in the UK has something similar as well.
Such a nice use of space! I'll think of this home whenever I get pangs of upgrading to a larger home -- I don't need more space, I probably need less stuff.
oh Kristin, I saw it at Pier Imports in Paris last summer, too.
