I've been feeling a bit Americana lately, so I was delighted to find these nursery collections from Franklin & Ben. Self-billed as "heritage reinterpreted," they combine traditional American furniture forms with modern interpretations that result in beautiful outcomes.
Franklin & Ben's mission is simple yet ambitious: they strive to "seamlessly intertwine history, heirlooms and vintage craft with contemporary lifestyles." In practice, that means creating furniture that is inspired by traditional American designs, like Shaker furniture, Massachusetts' architecture and the American Hunt Club Lounge aesthetic.
They currently have five different collections, each one a nod to a different tradition with a contemporary spin. Franklin & Ben is owned by MDB who also owns Nurseryworks, Babyletto and Million Dollar Baby so it will be interesting to see how F&B distinguishes itself.

The space border at the ceiling - wallpaper? painted mural? Also do you think there is uplighting in that black molding?
Any ideas?
I love the Mason collection, very classic yet with a modern feel. Finally some nursery collections that fit the more tradition style! Love it....
