Free Electronic Waste Recycling for Bay Area

Have any big plans for the long weekend?

How about (responsibly) getting rid of some of that junk that's been cluttering your closets, not to mention that one drawer in the kitchen you can't even open anymore?

If you live in the Bay Area this is definitely the weekend to take care of your electronics recycling -- which, let's face it, can sometimes be a real pain.

Just grab your stuff and haul it over to the IKEA in Emeryville where, on January 19 & 20 from 9am to 3pm, they'll be offering free electronic waste recycling.

Check below the jump for a list of recyclable items:

Televisions Monitors, Computer systems, Copy machines, Fax Machines, Printers, MP3 Players, Scanners, Video Game Consoles, Video Games, Cellular Phones (batteries can be included), Household phones, Stereo Equipment, Miscellaneous wiring, CD's (players and discs), DVD's (players and discs), Computer components ( i.e. keyboards, mice, internet devices etc.).
