The folks at Seagate just dropped us a line about their FreeAgent Go Portable Hard Drive. They're now offering 10 different colourways of their portable drive, which comes in 250-500GB storage sizes, all with 5400 RPM platters inside, priced at $119.99, $149.99 and $199.99...
These slim sized drives connect via USB2 for up to 480 Mb/s transfer rates and there's a dock option for those of you who really want some plug and play transfer action. The limited edition colours are all available now at the Seagate site here.

hmmm.... was looking for a new external hard drive. wonder if there will be more sales come closer to christmas on the 500gb model!?
Newegg has the 320 GB in silver for $99 and the 500 GB in black for $150. None of the colors though.
Spoke too soon. Newegg has the 320 GB in royal blue and red, but for different prices. That's a little disappointing. At least it's a little more affordable.
Buy.com has an iomega drive with 1tb (1000gb) for $150 - and it comes in red (blue for another $20). AND free shipping.
I love my iomega drive, considering upgrading to this one. They're also Mac & PC compatible (I use Mac at home, PC at work and have no issues using both)
