Talk about saying what you mean,
French 50s-60's is just what it says it is: great mid century design from France... which doesn't meant the pieces are necessarily French, just that they were found there.

Michele Sommerlath has a nice space in Venice that showcases some very pretty furniture, lighting, art and accessories. Everything is always rotating, and changing so whenever we pop by there is something new to keep us drooling.

Beautiful pieces in this shop. Received my dining room table here (a gift), French 1930's art deco-ish farm table, very cool, the price? VERY french.
I will say 2 negative things about this place, I found them impossible to negotiate with, meaning they wouldn't come down a penny. Also, when I bought the table only 4 of the 6 chairs were with the table, I was told the other 2 chairs were in the same condition. When the table and chairs were delivered, the 2 chairs I had not seen upon purchase were in bad shape and had been poorly repaired. When I called the shop they gave me a big old "not my problem" . So I won't be shopping with them again. Buyer beware.
