Even if you would never dream of rooting for Pittsburgh, you have to admit there's something about the black and yellow mix. Black is mysterious and sophisticated, and cheerful yellow keeps things from getting too serious.

Who wouldn't want to cheer for Pittsburgh!? Well... I guess Ravens and Eagles fans. *rolls eyes*. Despite my positive bias for my city/teams, the color combo is pretty great. :)
I think you need to be careful that it doesn't remind you of a bumble bee. I think all of them achieve a wonderful look except for the 1st one in my opinion. That one does remind me of a bee.
#3 is awesome
I quite like #2 and #10, but I think it's because they come off as very casual. #1 strikes me as an (unnecessary) exercise in exaggerated masculinity. If it scaled down on two or three elements, it might be a bit less off-putting (to me).
Yay Pittsburgh shout-out!
Can anyone name that photographer of the enlarged image above the couch with the Bettie Page-esque model on pool inflatables? I'm completely interested in it!
I love every shot except the first one. That black and white floor is awesome! And the yellow mantle! But that bed/banquette looks like something Antonio Ballatore from hgtv would design.
It appears to be a Jeff Koons shot of Gretchen Mol as Bettie Page.
