3. Pale pink and pale green are lovely together in this room from last year's Room for Color contest.
4. Where do I begin with this room? I love the contrast between the ornate moldings and the modern furniture. The art piece brings an edginess to this traditionally girly combo. From a Paris apartment by Laplace & Co.
5. Home of Sarah Lederman, as seen in The Glitter Guide.
BOTTOM ROW:
6. In the Austin home of Bailey McCarthy, as seen on Design*Sponge.

Shaw's Original Fir...
Pink and green together makes me feel nauseous. Not in a snarky way, but in a genuinely makes-me-queasy way. It's odd!
ElleOh, purple paint, drapes and furniture fabric do the same to me. Purple art, clothes, etc. don't.
This is one color combo that is really hard to get out of '80s-flashback mode. I think the tangier, more melon-shaded pinks help a lot with that, though.
To me, pink and mint-green are very 40s, in a good way.
