A lot depends on how you style it. If you're feeling conservative, you can use the colors in small doses (image 8), or try pairing a deep red with a pale pink for a soft, romantic look (image 9).
Bright pink and bright red is kitschy and fun (image 7); pink with deep red (and black and white and gold) takes on a certain outsized glamor (image 3). And don't think that using pink and red together means other colors aren't invited to the party too; in the second example, a slightly peachy pink and the introduction of light blue take this combo way beyond hearts and cupids.

Very much a favorite color combo of mine when done right! Love the pillows on the bed for a pop of color.
The black hand coming out from behind to hold the curtain spooks the life outta me... one reason enough to turn me off the rest of it all!
