They featured some fun ideas from The Custom Hotel, London West Hollywood, and the Palihouse Holloway.

That dog bedspread pic is HAHlarious. If I wanted to sleep in a creepy grandparents' guest room, I'd go hang out with my creepy grandparents! 70s cabin chic is so not happening.

I wonder if The Custom Hotel was having trouble with guests stealing their bedspreads. If they were, the doggy print ought to fix the problem. Seriously hideous.

That "bistro table" just makes me feel claustrophobic.

I like the coffee table, love the bistro chairs and hate the sheets.

when design takes priority, the result is often strange closets.

I LOVE the bedspread, but would prefer it rotated 90 degrees. Then again, I love themed furnishings.

Interesting that the LA Times should run this article now. Dwell magazine has a design conference in LA on June 5,6 and one of the panels is about the nexus of hospitality and domestic design. http://www.dwellondesign.com
