White serves as the perfect backdrop in kitchens and makes the most of the great light from the outside. Take a look at how using natural light and a white palette can be beneficial in any size kitchen.

Sprout Side Table
How does anyone maintain a rug in the kitchen?! I keep small mats under the sink and stove for comfort (easier on the feet while standing for long periods of time). But I have to throw them in the wash quite frequently! I can't imagine a nicer rug like the one pictured. I feel the same way about rugs under kitchen tables.
I love the way the shelf wraps around the awkward corner in #1. Very cool.
And the range hood in #4 is almost perfect.
The whole space for #6 is very cool: two big islands, plenty of space and storage even without upper cabinets.
is that a shower in #3?!
Loving the cookbooks arranged by color. Because they're all the same subject, this idea is actually practical.
@ maraudingcat-
Scotchguard, Scotchguard, Scotchguard! It really does wonders. I used it on my white sofa and it managed to stay pristine for a good six months. I should have refreshed it before it had a chance to get stained finally....
It pisses me off to have to click over now to be able to read posts. That's why I use Google reader. I don't mind if it's just a preview of the post, but since the revamp of the website I don't even get a picture - just the headline and a sentence or two. Certainly not enough to decide if it's something I'm really interested in enough to click over.
@ihearthearts, it looks like a shower to me too, very odd.
I love white kitchens, but I don't know how people can enjoy so much white on white on white. I need some color!
@keripayne
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks so. It's very nice to be able to read entire articles and view pics in G!Reader. Maybe they want it this way so they get page views.
I'd like to see some bright and light using COLOR on the walls. These all white kitchens are kinda boring in my opinion.
the way the books are arranged provides a nice pop of color.
@keripayne and @Just_kazari try http://fulltextrssfeed.com/. I switched to it just before the redesign and it still shows me the full article, including pictures, in Reader
This is a difficult layout to read. I'd like to know more about kitchens 1, 4, and 9, but there's no reliable way to click to them.
I love color, but found that a mostly white kitchen is wonderful, especially when it's small. I recently added white contact paper to the cabinets in my rental. There's just something very pure, clean & sharp about a white kitchen. Seems like the perfect mood you want to set for where you cook/eat.
