I love frette linens, but this ubiquitous "hotel" look (one or two bands of contrasting color around perimeter of duvet cover and shams is starting to look a bit dated to me, and not in a good way. When I looked at the photo above, for some reason, the theme song from "Dynasty" started going through my head.

But then again, since I was watching first-run episodes of "Dynasty" in the '80s, I guess that would mean I'm somewhat dated myself.

These stripes make of hospital linen in black instead of green and also remind me of these very cheap hotels i have been but I am sure the quality of the fabric make it up.
