Here at Apartment Therapy, our love for midcentury modern is strong. But that doesn't mean we're above a little midcentury design-related humor.
Also? I totally dig that walker.
This Friday funny was discovered at Core77 and created by Craighton Berman. You can see more of his cartoons at his blog, fueledbycoffee.

Love this!
Hilarious!
my morning laugh! thanks!
Hehe :)
Hmmm -- something to look forward to!
Love it :)
Makes me smile.
The Eames wheelchair is actually something I'd consider buying, if it were real!!! (If/when I need one, of course.) Maybe the walker, too!
What Eames wheelchair? End Alzheimer's!
Did anyone else think of the show Frasier?
Actually, when you think of the age of the people who bought this stuff when it first became popular ... nah, their tastes have probably changed since then.
MCM isn't my cuppa, but that Eiffel walker looks kind of cute.
I'm over the whole mid-century craze, except for the Eames lounge chair, that's a classic.
LOL! That's funny! But I must admit my love for MCM is wavering. I know. I don't know what's going on either.
Too funny!
Never been a fan of MCM perhaps because it was common to me in my developmental years. I do appreciate the clean lines, but it lacks the comfort factor, imho. I enjoy seeing it in the homes of those who are fans...good memories, just couldn't live with it myself. I trust that La-Z-Boy womb chair has a lift to help one stand? *grin*
This is hilarious...and just a matter of time! @FatSkinnyGirl, that totally made me laugh! The Crane boys would so need these.
why not?!
