Congratulations to Kelly Rakowski, who won last weeks Giveaway: 3 Hrs of Organizing with The Clutter Cowgirl
Service: Astech Closets
Value: $1500
Description: We've known and worked with Bill Skinner of Astech Closets for a number of years now, and this week he's giving away a redo of one of your closets, or at least $1500 towards a total overhaul of whatever you've got.
Here's Astech's pitch: All Astech closet systems are custom designed. Customers work with an Astech designer to decide on shelves, drawers, clothes bars and hideaway hampers. Then they select their desired finished for the shelves and hardware (seven wood finishes and four metal hardware finishes are available). The designer then creates a computer generated preview of the system.
Next, experienced Astech installers go on-site to turn the design into a reality. Skinner, a respected general contractor for 20-plus years, employs experienced carpenters exclusively...
Ultimately, they produce a closet system that is "personally functional" for the consumer. "There is a high level of customer satisfaction because the resulting system addresses the user's habits. It's really a "can't miss" situation for everyone involved, " Skinner said.

I need this so bad. Remember my closet from the "Worst Closet in NYC" contest a couple of years ago? It still looks like that....
yes, please. and thank you.
Would be great for my bedroom in my new little house!
Please consider expanding the geographical limit to include Philadelphia ("the sixth borough"!?!). We could really use the organization help!
My dream!
Oh pls pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me
Oh pls pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me
Oh pls pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me
one of these would be so much better than the system I built out of MDF
I would LOVE to see this in my home...we just moved into a place and we used a firm to do a lot of the closets, but we've done some ourselves, and we left our daughter's closet bare b/c we couldn't afford it right now!
I always wanted one of those tiny drawers so my socks could be rolled up like a tray of sushi.
I've been out of the closet for decades -- perhaps it's time to get back in there and give it the attention is deserves.
We have just finshed painting (after 10 yrs! -- too embarassing to mention) and would love, love, love attention for our closets.
If you want to make a girl happy, pick me!
for the 1st time in my life I have to share my closet w/ my partner. Please help keep us together :)
oh please! My closets and I would be eternally grateful :)
Our closets are a DISASTER.
I'm totally embarrassed to open them!
ooooh pretty please with sprinkles on top pick me! I don't even have a proper closet or system at all, I use a garment rack behind a curtain!
This would be a great catalyst to start decluttering my apartment!
If I win I promise to give this to my boyfriend. The floor space in his tiny bedroom is made even tinier by the piles of clothes everywhere. Help me help him.
Despite my organising OCD my current closet is a large metro shelving unit (no budget to upgrade). Its open and vaguely disorganised state that gives me agita every time I look at it. I dream of a closet system I can look upon, and be filled with a zen 'everything in its place feeling'.
If you pick me you will actually be doubling your do-good contribution by keeping me out of bellevue!!
ooooOoooo. Please!?
in serious need of organization...
ooh! i need this sooo bad!
Wow, what a great giveaway. Count me in!
This would be amazing!
This would make getting ready in the morning SOOOOO much easier! Who wouldn't want their life to simpler by knowing where things are & where they go when you are done!

My closet needs help. Serious help.
I moved recently and have a closet in need of some organization. It has so much space in such odd places. I know it has potential, I just need to harness it. My tennis rackets and sewing machine need a proper shelf.

I'd love the help with the new apartment I'm moving into.
Our closet needs some serious help!! please!
My partner and I need to win this real bad. Thank you, Andy
Most any system would be an improvement over my current "keep stuffing" storage (un)plan.

We need this because apparently, closets aren't supposed to fall on your head!
It would be easier to be organised if one only had a half dozen shirts and trousers in the closet as depicted. I'd like to see Astech take on a real clothes horse like me!
this would certainly make a huge dent in my Cure progress!
This is an amazing giveaway - please sign me up!

We've had NO closets for 8 years. Now we're moving into an apartment that actually has closets!!! We could really use this.
My fiancee and I recently moved in together and we have my plastic drawers from college and cardboard boxes keeping us afloat! HELP!
I would love this in any of our small pre-war building closets.
I have only one closet!!!... I need help.
I was just thinking I need to do over the closets in my daughter's room since she is going away to college and I am DESPARATE for more closet space!
Please, please, please. Thank you!
Okay, I missed the note about being an NYC resident -- entry withdrawn.
OMG. We ran out of funds to finish our bedroom when we were renovating, and just saved up enough to have our contractor install the zebrawood doors we wanted on our new closet. Winning this would completely solve the dilemma of how to design and budget for the closet interior.
this would be great....wow...!
can barely contain my excitement. PLEEEEEEEEEEEASE PICK ME!
:-D
this would be fantastic.
wow....Yes!
This would be so appreciated...

When you wish upon a star.....
I HAVE BEEN HOMELESS FOR THE LAST 4 MONTHS AND I AM FINALLY ABOUT TO MOVE INTO A NEW PLACE. THIS WOULD BE THE ICING ON THE CAKE! YEAH, PICK ME!
I'm having hand surgery later this week. In the past I've had surgery on the other hand. There's no way I could ever DIY any work on my own closet. (add in the fact that I'm uninsured and all my savings are going to pay to for the surgery...) Having more organized space would be a blessing to someone in my circumstances. BUT: I'm in Jersey City...
Pick me! Pick me!

We would be forever indebted!
My closet is a WRECK and I'd love to get it organized!

Please....I would love to see my floors again
I have only two teeny closets in my my teeny 250 square foot apartment...I am trying to de-clutter and make it peaceful. How lovely this would be...
There once was a girl from the Village
whose closet did not contain spillage
She opened the door

I love everything about my apartment except the closets. This could solve that and make me an all around happy homeowner!
here goes...i have a very inefficient linen closet that could use professional help. count me in please. thank you.
I'd be thrilled to have you design a closet for me, I'm moving shortly to a studio co-op and one of my big projects is the closet/dressing area before you get to the bathroom. There's a decent amount of space to do something really great, and given the $$ outlay btw the deposit and closing, I could sure use some help!
pick me! pick me!
i just moved into a new apt with less than efficient closet space and could more than use some organization and maximization. plllleeeeeasssse?!?!

New apartment needs new closets bad! Going from a walk in closet in Brooklyn to a small closet in the east village.
Ever since I was 10 years old and I saw the movie Overboard and Kurt Russell built Goldie Hawn her very own walk in closet with shoe shelves and everything a girl could ever want I have dreamed of having something that fancy. Make my dream come true! I will appreciate it way more than she did!!

perfect replacement for my old ikea closet!
Urg. I'm not eligible (in Seattle). Not fair!! I could totally use a closet makeover.
Oh man, oh man. What a deal! Here's my plea: As a single, female do-it-yourselfer, I refinished 1900 square feet of flooring on a Seattle house...all by myself. Now I live in NY and need a break. My closet is in desperate need of an overhaul. (Plus, I'm a fabulous tipper).
my closet definitely needs this
I live in a studio with my dog, Oreo, and my closet consist of a narrow 20 ft hanging space and I am 5'2". You can only imagine how fun it is for me every morning to jump for my clothes.
If there is ANY solution for me to have ANY sort of closet, I would think you were a magician.
