Those scrub brushes (blue one picture above in the holder) get really moldy and gross.
i have a brush similar i bought at target and haven't had any moldy issues... yet... but it does come with an extra replacement head, so you can change it easily if it does get gross... but i like the ergonomicness of it, and the rubber gel handle is great...
