Quilting can seem like this long lost art to many. Although most of us could stumble through making a t-shirt quilt, they can feel a little high school sometimes. Yesterday Michelle showed us how to make a duvet cover out of a fitted sheet, and if you're looking for another super thrifty way to keep warm, check out this simple thin quilt made from fitted sheets!

When it comes to following a tutorial from another fellow crafter, things can either go swimmingly (you feel empowered to create), or you could end up crying on your knees (tissue?). When it comes to Jan over at Daisy Jane, her step-by-step tutorial made this already easy project appear even more simple.

All you need to make this quick quilt are two fitted sheets and a little batting. With simple stitches and very little measuring, this beauty comes together fast. You could repurpose old sheets in your linen closet, rescue vintage finds from the thrift stores or even watch sales at stores where things don't quite fit right? (TJ Maxx and Old Time Pottery, we're looking at you).

Check out all the details on this great project, perfect for beginners and veterans alike over at Daisy Jane!
