Thanks to Victoria over at sfgirlbybay, we discovered this delightful online resource for lovely designs from independent Swedish designers. Featuring a new designer each month, items are sold in limited editions (at really reasonable prices) for that month. One must act fast though as designs frequently sell out. We cannot wait to get some of their products into our home.

March's designer is Maria Holmer Dahlgren who designs whimsical yet practical serving trays (above) and dishcloths. Other colorful and graphic recent designs include pillow covers, place mats, cutting boards, oven mitts (below by Bengt & Lotta), handmade ceramic pots and other decorative house wares.

Oh, and if you are curious as to where the name comes from, “Sthlm” is a local Stockholmian abbreviation for “Stockholm”.
If you want to be sure that you don't miss out on the newest releases, be sure to sign up for From Sthlm's newsletter. To find out more about the designers and what's happening behind the scenes, check out the From Sthlm blog. They are also now working with retailers across the US to bring some of the independent designs they feature to local shops so that more people can find it.

That cross-stitch with the bees made me snort!
I could use the "Please continue...." one.
So anyone know where the cute ceramic owl pictured with the cross-stitch came from? Urban Outfitters had a lamp a little while ago that looked like it that sold out way too quickly and I have been searching for it (or similar) since. This may be the same maker. Any ideas?
omg someone crossstitched my family's motto.
We must be related.
The "please continue ... " one is sold out. I really want it to give to a friend of mine. Maybe they'll make more kits?
