If our recent post on the adorable Sunshine Lemonade Stand wasn't enough to get you and the kids outside squeezing lemons for the neighborhood, then maybe this simple and elegant version will be that extra push you need. Among other things, we really love the strategically zip-tied wooden crates making display areas as well as out-of-view storage; a smart and simple solution. We are sure those lovely wooden crates could be easily repurposed in the off-season too.
Pop over to One Charming Party to find out how they used paper doilies for decorating, where you can buy the crates and the green striped straws, and to download some free printables.

Cute but doesn't look like an actual kid would be allowed with 30' of it.
Why are adults making lemonade stands for their kids? Part of the fun is letting the kids figure out how to do it themselves with homemade signs and the like. Parents are officially taking the fun out of everything.
so negative! it's a very cute idea... and part if the "fun" ofbeing a kid might be to check out cute ideas online with your parents. my daughter (6 years old) loves good design, good packaging, quality materials and minimalist charm and would like to get ideas before setting up. that said the only problem with something like this is that it doesn't set your kids up to learn anything about money as the lemonade would have to be $2 each to offset the cost of wood crates, glass jars, paper straws (and the $12 shipping charge for them) on top of all the materials. Then again, it really is more about them having fun right?
