Kinda sad to see the FSBO folks are falling prey to the sales tactics of the Real Estate industry.

How did they get that texture on the walls & do I want that on my old and not very well taken care of plaster walls - to cover the obvious defects?

Thanks to AT for posting this and thanks to everyone for looking. Apologies to the nanny-blocked. The Empire State Building View thing is just a joke. You can only see the spire and only if you get up near the window. I thought it was a good way to show that we have a lot of sky.

The floors are old oak. There was carpet when we bought the place- had the floors done by Norwegian Wood, who I thought did a great job.

The walls are the original plaster. Not sure how to repair them, except that a small patch is pretty easy.

Am i the only one that notices the bathtub fixtures come of a the side and not from the front.

I've clearly been living in the NY Metro Area all my life (Fairfield County, CT) because I look at this listing and think, "damn, that's a pretty decent price and without the usual restrictions!".

Don't fret, it'll sell.

The west village is one of the few nabes in Manhattan where you can get $1000 per sqft for a walk up coop studio (the better condos breached $1000 per sqft in 2004 but very few coops outside of the gold coasts on 5th ave and in the WV ever did). Agree with Marianne in that a coop that's ok with investors, especially in the WV, makes this a rare find.

This is the first FSBO on AT (apart from the one that was on curbed) that I think will actually sell for the asking price.

BTW, the only thing I can think of (knowing how our IT dept configures the firewall) that is blocking ppl from viewing this site is a wildcard block on *atio.com because not many words, other than felatio, end in atio. Reminds me of the early days of aol when they deleted all user accounts that mentioned the word "breast" in any on line postings. One of the most embarrassing mistakes they had to admit to was deleting the whole user base of the breast cancer survivors group.

god, my apartment is on the market for WAY less than this, and it's over 800sf, tons of space, jr. 4, immaculate building, etc., etc.

but it ain't on horatio st. but after living there, the thought of living in a closet again is so depressing.

You pay for the place. I don't want to say it's decent pricing but that's market.
