Catacombs FTW!
I love the Bart Simpson, Linus (Lucy's lil' bro) or Chas Addams topiary!
I actually have had to chase a lizard out of a house.
Or, well, I watched as the housekeeping woman at the hotel I was staying at in Costa Rica tried to chase the lizard out of our cabin.
She did not use peacock feathers though. Rather, a broom was used to attempt to coax the iguana out from behind the fridge, but only resulted in the poor thing moving into the rafters and shaking leaves down onto the top bunk in my bedroom for the rest of the holiday.
