Our new neighbor handed us this neat informative map detailing For Your Art's Architectural Issue. In it you'll find all the reasons why we fall in love with Los Angeles. Union Station, Griffith Observatory, The Chemosphere plus oodles of other great finds you've had on your list to check out. Apparently For Your Art comes out with a new map quarterly--always with a different focus on the Los Angeles cultural scene. In addition to a map, For Your Art offers a weekly e-mail that they call "Plan ForYourArt" where the knowledgeable team handpicks a couple of art related things to do each day over the course of a week. Their goal is to keep information accessible and at your fingertips--they definitely have us interested. And if you're dying to get your hands on something right away they have a website you can check out here (the map is available for download on the site!). Extras on the website include everything from articles and interviews to podcasts, openings and lectures. Since we have the inside scoop our "informant" gave us the theme of the next quarter's map. The focus will be the California Biennial and will include artistic points of interest from Tijuana to San Francisco.
