Gaggenau Adds Customizable Art to Your Kitchen

First, there was the laptop vinyl. Today, we see kitchens getting the same customizable treatment courtesy of Gaggenau's collaboration with Martigny Design Group of Switzerland. Our question for you... is this new trend of kitchen customizables hot or not?

Well, if you're digging the campy advertising (above, we see Whitney Toyloy, Miss Switzerland 2008, posing with Gaggenau ovens from the Single Line with Manhattan image), then sure, it might be hot after all. The new Art Collection by Gaggenau appliances feature visual direction by Matthew Rouiller, director of Martigny, and photographs by Robert Hofer, a freelance photographer from the Valais.

Not sure how we feel about these "striking" images in our kitchens while we cook, but perhaps it may work for the right person in the correct context. Like maybe an urban loft dweller looking to connect with Mother Nature?
