These photographs are as much like my life (okay, more like my life) as any of the ship-shape homes we aspire to here on Apartment Therapy. Sometimes, these things just happen. Chicago photographer Nathan Baker has captured the essence of small home accidents in his series entitled Rupture, Part One...Mundane drips, spills and imperfections are the subject of the series. I especially appreciate the "pot boiling over guy" looking completely defeated and the perfect contemporary interior complete with broken vase and offended homeowner. Some of these look all too familiar, don't they? See the rest of Baker's work at Kaune, Sudendorf, a gallery for contemporary photography.
