We've never really felt that we have a yard large enough to necessitate a wheelbarrow, or rather that we don't have space to store one. We usually just end up using a tarp or a few buckets to drag cuttings or dirt around. And although it works, this collapsible wheelbarrow looks like an awesome small space alternative.
This wheelbarrow is from The Gardener's Supply for $49.95. It holds up to 300 pounds of whatever your garden has to throw at it and folds flat to store.
It would be perfect for those that have work to do, but might not have a garage or shed to store tools in. We've lived several places where tools had to be trucked in and out of our basement, and although that sounds fun... wait, who are we kidding? It isn't! With a collapsible version it could easily be picked up with one hand and stored almost anywhere!

Neat! We just got our first wheelbarrow (just a regular one) and I love having it.
What a great idea! It also seems like it would be a little bit easier to maneuver. My big beef with wheelbarrows is that they're so unwieldy and bulky, it seems like they tip over every time I try to move them. If the wheelbarrow is lighter to begin with, that might not happen as often. I also like that you could just put this one in the back of your car if you need a wheelbarrow for some kind of project! Great idea.
I purchased a folding wheelbarrow at the Philadelphia Flower Show some 7/9 years ago. I bought it from the Lee Valley booth took it out of the box and wheeled it right out of the Convention center!
We were just talking about needing a wheelbarrow this morning!
