With trees being used in weddings, the obvious symbolism of planting them after the ceremony is sure to follow, and then you have the tree which will continue to grow through a lifetime. It’s a lovely thing. Plus, am I the only on that finds this video of the trees being unloaded and brought into Westminster Abbey completely fascinating? So much more interesting that just regular flowers!
But the trend has really emerged full on with the other Kate's wedding. Kate Moss's wedding spread in the most recent issue of Vogue shares a different, but equally stunning bridal aisle lined with a gorgeous garden.
As much as I'd like to believe that the gorgeous collection of white delphinium, scabiosa and daisy grew naturally, I know it's nearly impossible for that to really be planted that full and perfect. But that is hardly the point — it looks like a garden and both Kates pulled off simplicity and amazingly beautiful emulations and celebrations of nature.
